This Level 3 programme provides an in-depth understanding of special educational needs, inclusive education and effective support strategies. It is ideal for learners who have already completed Level 2 training or have relevant experience and are ready to move into more advanced SEN roles.
Delivered fully online, the course combines daily live tutor-led sessions with guided independent study, case studies and practical scenario tasks. Learners are supported by experienced tutors with specialist knowledge of SEN and education support pathways.

Delivery Method

This course is delivered online via Microsoft Teams, with daily live sessions and structured learning activities.

Live Teaching Sessions

  • Morning session: 9:30am – 11:30am

  • Midday session: 12:30pm – 2:00pm

Optional Learner Support Session

  • Daily support drop-in: 4:00pm – 4:30pm

  • Your postcode must fall within a funded area

  • Yes. This course is funded through the Free Courses for Jobs programme for eligible learners. Funding eligibility will be checked during enrolment.

  • Learners aged 19–23 must not already hold a full Level 3 qualification or above.
    Learners aged 24+ may still be eligible, subject to funding criteria.

  • The course is delivered fully online via Microsoft Teams, with daily live tutor-led sessions, guided independent study and optional support sessions.

  • You will need access to a computer or tablet and a reliable internet connection. Mobile phone access alone is not suitable for this course.
