Course Overview

This Skills Bootcamp draws on nationally recognised NCFE CACHE units to equip learners with job-ready skills aligned to national occupational standards. The curriculum reflects current sector needs and labour market demand, supporting learners to transition quickly into sustainable employment within the early years sector.

Course Description

Delivered over six weeks, the Lancashire EYFS Bootcamp combines face-to-face learning with online delivery to provide a balanced, practical learning experience.

Learners take part in interactive lessons, group discussions, and practical and theory-based activities covering safeguarding, child development, communication and inclusive early years practice. All sessions are delivered by tutors with extensive early years experience, ensuring learning is relevant, supportive and industry-focused.

Course Duration

6 weeks total (hybrid model, combining in-person and online learning)

• Monday and Tuesday - Delivered at a local Lancashire venue

• Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - Delivered via Microsoft Teams

• Approximately 9:30am – 2:00pm on training days

6 weeks - 23/03/26– 15/05/26 (Easter Holidays 30/03/26 – 10/04/26)
8 weeks course with 6 week delivery.
