    NCFE CACHE Level 1 Certificate in Well-Being

    This programme is an introduction to working in schools and Wellbeing of the individual and others. The programme includes development of digital skills, career guidance and written English skills. Within the course duration, there are opportunities to work in groups, develop presentations and present information. The level 1 enables an individual to feel comfortable in a learning environment if this is something they have not been a part of for a while. Support is provided throughout the course duration and feedback shows that confidence and ability levels rise, many learners continuing on to a level 2 programme. The level 1 qualifications enable the learner to become aware of e-safety and how to keep children safe in their learning environment. It includes learning about schools, what policies and procedures they work to and why this is important, we also cover what a school offers the children such as what the national curriculum contains, healthy eating at school and how to contain infections within a classroom. In our Wellbeing qualification, we look at mental health, stress and how to keep safe and healthy.

    NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Behaviours That Challenge

    On the Level 2 Programme we work on effectively preparing our learners for progression into employment in the education sector. We not only focus on developing learner’s knowledge on all aspects of the curriculum, but we also target specific individual challenges to learning and employment that may contribute to a lack of confidence in gaining employment. Targeting soft skill development through our inclusive, engaging, and interactive teaching and learning activities used throughout the online and face to face courses. Learners complete a variety of assessments throughout the duration of the course including preparing formal emails, creating newsletters and producing reports, all of which are preparation for learners to feel confident in their next steps.

    Education Support Programme Level 3

    Level 3 AIM Qualification in The Principles of Special Educational Needs

    The course is delivered over a 6-week period, discussing real life situations that both the tutor and learners have experienced. During the programme tutors will carry out enrichment activities covering topics such as safeguarding, mental health, employability skills development and CV writing. The delivery consists of a variety of teaching and assessment methods including case studies, scenarios, project work and written questions. Our level 3 programme is to provide a deeper understanding of the roles of education support staff building on the knowledge they have gained on level 2. Level 3 provides learners with the knowledge and understanding to identify and support children with special educational needs. We feel this qualification will enhance employability prospects within the education and care sector.
