Why are qualified Mental Health Staff important in schools?
School support staff play an important role in promoting and supporting the positive mental health and wellbeing of pupils and students. It's been shown that qualified Mental Health School Support Staff have a positive effect on school climate, student engagement and achievement rates, school outcomes and teacher retention rates. With the correct support, knowledge and training, learners will learn the techniques to identify a lack of strategies for mental health and in turn provide languishing children young people with the tools to raise their mental wellbeing through building resilience and promote resources that build positive mental health and wellbeing.
This is a 1 week course delivered ONLINE through the Aspire E-Learning platform (from the comfort of your own home).
The course start date is Monday 21st July and will be delivered online - 1 webinar per day:
